Our Team

David Brown
Principal Physiotherapist | B.Sc., B.App.Sc. (Physiotherapy), M.A.P.A.

David Brown is a highly experienced physiotherapist with over 30 years of clinical practice in musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy. He has been the Principal Physiotherapist at PPS Physiotherapy since 1995, helping build the practice into a trusted name in the community.

Education & Qualifications

David completed his Bachelor of Science at the University of New South Wales in 1988, followed by a Bachelor of Applied Science in Physiotherapy at The University of Sydney in 1992. He is a proud member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA).

Clinical Experience & Career

Since taking the reins at PPS Physiotherapy in 1995, David has remained committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care for a wide range of musculoskeletal and sporting injuries. His professional focus lies in rehabilitation, manual therapy, and injury prevention.

David has also made a strong mark in sports physiotherapy, particularly within schoolboy Rugby Union. His experience includes:

  • Head Physiotherapist for The King’s School 1st XV Rugby (17+ years)

  • Physiotherapist for GPS Schoolboys and NSW Schoolboys representative teams

Background in Sport

David brings firsthand knowledge of athletic performance and recovery, having played AFL professionally for the Sydney Swans. This sporting background enhances his practical understanding of injury management and return-to-play strategies for athletes of all levels.

Grant Burton
Principal Physiotherapist | B.Ex.Sc., M.Phty

Grant Burton is the Principal Physiotherapist and founder of PPS Physiotherapy Kellyville. With over 18 years of experience in musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy, Grant combines deep clinical knowledge with a passion for helping people move better, feel stronger, and return to what they love doing—whether it’s sport, work, or everyday life.

Education & Qualifications

Grant holds a Bachelor of Exercise Science from Australian Catholic University (2005) and a Master of Physiotherapy from The University of Sydney (2007). His dual expertise in both exercise science and physiotherapy enables him to take a holistic, movement-based approach to treatment and rehabilitation.

Career & Practice Leadership

Grant joined PPS Physiotherapy Carlingford in 2008, where he developed his expertise under a highly experienced team. In 2012, he established PPS Physiotherapy Kellyville, bringing expert care closer to the growing Hills District community. As Principal Physiotherapist, Grant leads a team of clinicians focused on delivering personalised, evidence-based care.

Grant has a long-standing involvement in high-level sport, including:

  • Club Physiotherapist for Two Blues Rugby (Shute Shield)

  • Ongoing support and injury management for a variety of local and regional sporting teams

His experience in both schoolboy and semi-professional sport has given him an excellent understanding of performance demands, injury patterns, and return-to-sport planning.

Kimberley Cochrane
Senior Physiotherapist | B.Phty (Hons), GradCert Sports Physiotherapy

Kimberley Cochrane is a dedicated and highly skilled physiotherapist with a strong focus on musculoskeletal and sports injury management. She brings a well-rounded, evidence-based approach to treatment—supporting everyone from elite athletes to everyday active individuals through recovery and performance enhancement.

Education & Qualifications

Kimberley graduated with First Class Honours in a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Australian Catholic University in 2015. She has since undertaken further postgraduate study through La Trobe University, completing a Graduate Certificate in Sports Physiotherapy. Her commitment to continuing education has equipped her with advanced clinical reasoning and assessment skills.

Clinical Experience & Interests

Kimberley has extensive experience in managing acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries, sports-related conditions, and post-operative rehabilitation. She enjoys working with a wide range of age groups and sporting backgrounds, with a particular interest in adolescent athletes and women in sport.

Her clinical interests are informed by years of hands-on involvement with school-level sport, including:

  • Physiotherapy coverage for The King’s School rugby, soccer, and athletics teams

  • Treatment and rehabilitation for competitive netball players, drawing from her own experience as a high-level athlete

Kevin Guo
Senior Physiotherapist | B.App.Sc. (Physiotherapy)

Kevin Guo is a skilled and compassionate physiotherapist with a strong focus on musculoskeletal injuries, sports injury management, and post-surgical rehabilitation. He also has a special interest in assessing and treating vestibular conditions, helping patients overcome dizziness, vertigo, and balance disorders. Kevin brings a holistic and patient-centred approach to physiotherapy, combining hands-on therapy with functional movement strategies to achieve long-term results.

Education & Qualifications

Kevin completed his Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) at The University of Sydney in 2017. He is committed to continued professional development and delivering evidence-based care tailored to each patient’s goals.

Clinical Experience & Interests

Before joining PPS Physiotherapy, Kevin worked across several public hospitals in the Western Sydney region. During this time, he gained valuable experience treating a wide range of conditions, including:

Kevin has a strong personal interest in sports injury prevention and performance. As a former high-level track and field athlete, he understands the physical and psychological demands of training and competition, and applies this insight to support patients of all fitness levels.

Kevin is fluent in Cantonese, allowing him to communicate effectively with Cantonese-speaking patients and deliver culturally sensitive care.

Jarrah Nesbitt
Senior Physiotherapist | B.App.Sc. (Exercise & Sport Science), M.Phty

Jarrah Nesbitt is an experienced and enthusiastic physiotherapist who has been working in private practice since 2017. She enjoys treating a wide variety of musculoskeletal and sporting injuries, with a strong focus on empowering her patients to take control of their recovery and reach their individual goals—whether that’s returning to sport, improving day-to-day movement, or building long-term resilience.

Education & Qualifications

Jarrah completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (Exercise and Sport Science) in 2015 before going on to earn her Master of Physiotherapy from The University of Sydney in 2017. She has also pursued further professional development to enhance her clinical skills, including:

  • Paediatric Physiotherapy (Monash University)

  • Level 1 Pilates – Matwork and Equipment

Jarrah is passionate about supporting patients of all ages and activity levels—whether managing acute or chronic musculoskeletal conditions, or helping someone return to meaningful daily function and sport. She has a particular interest in adolescent and female athletes, and is highly experienced in sports injury prevention and rehabilitation.

Jarrah has provided physiotherapy support at the State Age Netball Championships and works with both state-level and national-level Australian netball teams, offering injury management, recovery, and performance support at an elite level.

She has also worked closely with athletes in tennis, football, dance, touch football, and Oztag, giving her a diverse background in sport-specific assessment and rehabilitation.

Making a Broader Impact

Beyond her clinical and sporting work, Jarrah has volunteered in an orphanage in Vietnam, assisting children, teens, and elderly residents to improve their movement, independence, and quality of life—reflecting her dedication to using physiotherapy as a tool for meaningful change.

Jarrah brings energy, compassion, and a practical, evidence-based approach to every session. Her goal is always to help people move better, feel stronger, and live more confidently.

Marina Yang
Physiotherapist | B.Biomed, DPT, M.A.P.A.

Marina is a dedicated physiotherapist with a strong focus on evidence-based musculoskeletal rehabilitation, particularly in shoulder injuries and sport-related recovery. Her goal is to help patients return to full function—and beyond—by improving resilience, movement awareness, and long-term strength.

Clinical Experience & Interests

Marina has a special interest in shoulder dysfunction, drawing on her postgraduate training and clinical experience to treat a wide range of conditions, including:

Marina holds a Bachelor of Biomedicine and a Doctor of Physiotherapy, both from The University of Melbourne. Her strong academic foundation in medical science is complemented by practical experience and further certifications:
